On December 1, 2021, a meeting “Jotun’s Path to Maximum Hull Efficiency “ was organized by Jotun Poland was held via MS-Teams for the PSCA community.

The meeting was chaired by Tom H. Evensen (Regional Category Manager Hull Performance Jotun – Performance Coatings), who presented ways to significantly improve the Energy Efficiency Index (EEXI) by introducing new types of anti-fouling and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as through new performance monitoring methods. The key issue for the PSCA community and the entire shipping world is the adaptation to the requirements for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in shipping (especially the requirements of MEPC 76).
