Meeting at the Muszla Restaurant – MEPC 76 – Update on IMO Strategy On GHG Reduction and its effect on Navigator Gas fleet performance and tradability

On September 16th, a meeting was held at the Muszla Restaurant in Gdynia, after a 1.5-year break.

The meeting was conducted by Mr. Janusz Borowicz (Navigator Gas – NGT Services Poland), Mr. Tomasz Mściwujewski and Mr. Paweł Olszak (DNV Poland) and its purpose was to discuss the impact of technical and organizational requirements established at the 76th meeting of the IMO Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC) which took place on June 10th-June 17th, 2021. The impact of the new regulations (changing the regulations of Chapter VI of the MARPOL Convention) aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions was demonstrated on the example of the fleet managed by Navigator Gas.
