On January 14, a meeting was held on the spreading variant of the SARS CoV-2 virus – ie Omikron. President of HMS Assistance S.A. Mrs Ewa Książek Bator presented information regarding all the current variants of the coronavirus, what is characteristic of the Omikron variant in comparison with them and the methods of prevention against infection and severe disease. The Community also exchanged experience regarding the prevention of infections on board sea-going vessels and in the offices as well current pandemic restrictions in different countries.

After the presentation of Mrs. Książek Bator, the President of the Management Board, Mr. Dariusz Jellonnek, opened a discussion dedicated to the 7th anniversary of the establishment of the Association (PSCA predecessor, Polish Ship Managers Association was established on January 15, 2015 in Gdynia). The discussion centered around such topics as achievements to date, issues encountered by the Members, as well as the prospects and planned activities of the Association, which will be undertaken in the coming months.
